Hi, I’m Anshaj - the author behind Compute. This blog is my space to break down complex components of computation and share my hands-on experiments with the world.

A bit about me…

At my core, I’m an experimenter who loves to document the process. My journey started years ago when I discovered QBASIC and experienced the magic of a terminal for the first time. That fascination with making computers come alive through lines of code led me to become a software engineer. Today, with nearly a decade of industry experience, that same curiosity still drives me.

Alongside my day-to-day work building software systems, I am deeply passionate about teaching. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and upskilling over 4,000 people in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI. In my free time, you can usually find me simulating an engineering system, reading a new book, or working my way through a new computing paradigm.

If you’d like to send a message or schedule some time to chat, you can reach me directly on Topmate.

Why subscribe?

I write practical, deep-dive articles on Artificial Intelligence, distributed systems, backend architecture, and machine learning. My goal is to help you understand how these technologies actually work under the hood, drawing directly from my own engineering experience.

Because I believe in learning by doing, I make my code available through public repositories with detailed readmes. You can run, break, and customize the solutions I build.

If that sounds valuable to you, subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and website. It’s completely free, and every new post goes straight to your inbox so you never miss an update.

Happy reading!
